| JOYTI Joyti's father contracted AIDS from an extramarital affair. He eventually left home with the other woman, and Joyti's mother found out she also had contracted AIDS. She moved the family but continued to struggle with finances and her deteriorating health. Joyti was referred to P.R.C. by a friend of the family and they took her in at the age of 14. |
