| *****THE MIRACLE TRIPLETS***** PLEASE BE IN PRAYER FOR THE TRIPLETS THAT WERE BORN MAY 27, 2007. THEIR MOTHER, ANNA MARIA, IS ONLY 14 YEARS OLD AND BECAME PREGNANT WHILE BEING TRAFFICKED. SHE FOUND OUT AFTER SHE WAS RESCUED THAT SHE WAS PREGNANT AND MADE THE BRAVE DECISION TO KEEP HER BABIES. THEN AT 7 MONTHS IN HER PREGNANCY SHE WENT INTO LABOR AND HAD TRIPLETS, ALL HEALTHY AND BREATHING ON THEIR OWN IN SPITE OF THE LIMITED HEALTH CARE THAT WAS AVAILABLE AT THE HOSPITAL WHERE SHE DELIVERED HER BABIES. TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, SHE AND ALL 3 OF THE BABIES TESTED POSITIVE FOR SYPHILIS. THIS NORMALLY HAS A 50% FATALITY RATE IN THE PERINATAL PERIOD, AND WE KNOW THAT GOD HAS PERFORMED A MIRACLE IN KEEPING THESE BABIES HEALTHY AND ALIVE DESPITE ALL THE ODDS AGAINST THEM. THE BABIES NAMES ARE: ANNA MARIE, ANDREA, AND KATALINA. THIS WILL BRING ADDED BURDEN TO THE SAFE HOUSE AS FAR AS BOTH MEDICAL EXPENSES AND ITEMS NEEDED TO TAKE CARE OF THESE CHILDREN AS THEY GROW. IN ANOTHER AMAZING DEVELOPMENT, IANA MATEI HAS DECIDED TO LEGALLY ADOPT ANNA MARIA, SO NOW SHE HAS A NEW DAUGHTER AND 3 NEW GRANDCHILDREN. June 4,2007 Here is the latest about the babies and Anna Maria. Sadly, Anna Marie has died (one of the babies). The other two babies are doing well and continue to get stronger. There is now a new twist to the already amazing story. Anna Maria (the mother) has disappeared from the hospital. The media in Romania picked up the story of the babies and plastered it all over the papers and on the news. They even said she was pregnant as a result of being trafficked. They reported the hospital she was in and in what city. Iana believes she was taken by the traffickers as a result of being in witness protection, and being willing to testify against them. The police have been very slow to go and look for her. We know she did not just walk out because she disappeared in her nightie and her clothes were there in the room. Anna does not even know that one of the babies has died. Please pray that God would shine a light on where she is. So now the babies are without their mother. Iana travels every two days to make sure they are getting the care that they need, as she is still having to care for the girls in the house at the same time as the babies. The hospital has said they are coming to the end of what they can financially do to care for them. They have asked Iana to come up with money for all their needs, medicine, diapers, needles etc. So we are asking for your help. Please donate so we can give these children the attention that they need. Not just today but for their future. I will keep updates posted so you all know how to pray and what our needs are for this situation. God Bless Colette July 5, 2007 Update - The twins continue to grow and become more healthy. They are both now eating on their own. Katalina weighs a little under 3 pounds and Andrea is just over 3 pounds. Please keep praying for their growth and development. The babies mother - Anna Maria - still has not been found, so please continue to pray for God to bring the truth to light. We will have pictures SOON so keep checking back. Praise report!!!!! We were able to send the babies some much needed (and expensive) medicine - Intravenous Immune Globulin - thanks to a gift from BAXTER pharmaceuticals. So we extend a big THANK YOU to Baxter and to Jennifer Randolph at Baxter for your help! In addition we want to thank Don Nickols and the group from Christ The Rock Community Church in Menasha, Wi. It so happened that they were headed to Romania on a mission trip last week and they hand carried the medicine to Bucharest where the babies are hospitalized. We praise the Lord for working this out, and for the willingness of all those involved to be of assistance!!! July 21, 2007 The babies are doing well, continuing to thrive. Mother Anna Maria still has not been found. August 1, 2007 The babies are doing great and are now HOME!!! |
